Marcilline Badza
Marcilline Badza was born on February 10, 1995, in Mbuya Nehanda Maternity Hospital. She grew up in Dzivarasekwa before moving to Kuwadzana Seven, where she attended Tynward Primary School and achieved 10 units in her grade seven exams. She completed her O-levels at Kuwadzana High School and A-levels at Warren Park 1 High, where she earned 9 points. Marcilline married Treatwell Learnmore Chitembetembe, an Anglican Priest, in 2014. They have two children: Adonis Aristotle and Matifadza. Marcilline is originally from Masvingo, while her husband hails from Gokwe. They have served in various churches, currently residing at All Saints Rio Eiffel Flats in Kadoma. Marcilline pursued a degree in English and Communication Studies at Zimbabwe Open University, completing her attachment at ZPC Munyati Station. She is a passionate writer, published in anthologies such as Chainga Chenduri, Hausundi, and Where Hope Lingers a Little Longer. As she awaits her final exam results from 2022, Marcilline engages in bale selling from home.
