there is a soft storm gathering at my feet
asking me to move away from yesterday’s pain.
it motions me to walk away from the arms that hurt me even if they be my own.
it is begging me to embrace an everlasting love even if it be my own.
the rain asks me to let the flood reach my neck,
listen to the flow doesn’t that sound like peace?
the breeze asks me to lift my hands and sway along,
doesn’t that look like worship?
surrender is strength.
