In my world,
the grief of infertility
often threatens to overwhelm me,
the shame of it never far away,
its sadness lingers in my heart,
the longing leaves me grasping for air,
the loneliness so cold I have no words,
I shiver in silent despair,
BUT it is the echo of emptiness in my gut
…that…ummmh,
that leaves me breathless.
